-- Construction of new sidewalks, separate walking trails/paths, bike paths -- Bridges and underpasses for pedestrians/bikes for existing trails -- (several other bike/pedestrian improvements are listed)
-- Improving the quality of life through job creation, increased tourism, economic devolvement, balanced distribution of funds and other socio-economic factors -- Enhancement of tourism and visitor revenues -- Potential enhancement of economic development (ie: marketability of community)
-- Increases or improves access to activity centers, enhanced mobility of persons, significant improvements to trip experience, additions/improvements to existing transportation systems -- Reinforces or completes regional transportation system, fill deficiencies, has multi-modal aspects or connects transport modes * Transportation modes being connected and projects identified in transportation plans/ongoing transportation programs
-- Linkage to existing plans -- Letters of support from elected officials -- Endorsement action from local governments (ie: resolutions, etc) -- Letters of support/endorsement actions from interest groups (ie: Chamber of Commerce, advocacy groups, neighborhood associations, etc.)
-- Demonstrate reasonable assurance that 20% is readily available
-- Number of persons/groups of people who will benefit (ie: pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians, skiers, travelers, etc.)
-- Multi-jurisdictional projects

-- Volunteer labor for completion and maintenance -- Use of other grant funds
