Who we are --
An informal alliance of downtown merchants and other interested parties.
Our primary goal --
The improvement and promotion of the downtown area of the Village of New Paltz, NY.
Meetings --
The Board of Directors meets from time to time
What we do --
The DBA provides a format in which business people can meet with each other, network and seek solutions to common problems. It provides communication among downtown businesses via an occasional newsletter.
Some of our projects --
*** Traffic and Parking
*** Zoning Issues
*** Representation on Village committees which affect downtown
*** Beautification: Summer flower planting and Winter decor
*** Petitioning of local government concerning downtown matters
*** Provide liaison with New Paltz Chamber of Commerce/Huguenot Historical Society
