Potential "Bridge of Dreams" site

Summary:
The Town of New Paltz is applying for a grant under the NYSDOT (New York State Dept. of Transportation) "Transportation Enhancement Program." The project requests funding to construct a path and bridge across the Wallkill River which will serve as a connecting link between the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and the Ulster County Fairgrounds.

The grant application was submitted by the due date of June 30, 2006. We now await a decision.
