Bicycle Bells on the Rail Trail

Did you know it's New York State law that all bicycles should have a bell?
Did you know that bells are the best way to notify other users on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail
that you're about to pass them?
But not all bicycles have bells, and sometimes bicyclists on the Rail Trail fail to notify that they're
about to pass.
During the month of May, volunteers will be on the Rail Trail at the Main Street, New Paltz crossing,
selling bells for just $4.00 and alerting bicyclists to Rail Trail's rules for cycling.
